Brandon Teal Interviewed by RSI
During the upcoming Railway Supply Institute (RSI) Conference and Expo, Brandon Teal (Director – Railway Machine Systems) will speak as part of a panel discussion on “Supporting a Strong Passenger Rail Supplier Base in the United States”.
To preview the event, RSI interviewed Teal and co-panelist Norman Brown on the subject – head to the RSI website to read the full article (it is also available on Railway Age).
The panel discussion is scheduled for 1:45-2:30 PM CST on Thursday, October 10. Teal will be joined by Norman Brown, Legislative Director, New York State Council of Machinists; and John Fink, VP, Sales and Marketing, Transit Group, Wabtec. The moderator is Ed Fishman, Partner – Global Regulatory, Hogan Lovells.
Here’s the abstract from the RSI website: “The RSI (in its prior incarnation as the Rail Progress Institute) was fundamental in helping write the original passenger rail “Buy America” regulations in the 1980s. But domestic preference assumes that this country has a healthy domestic supplier base. This session will explore factors influencing the health of the passenger rail supply industry in the U.S. and challenges from the perspective of various stakeholders.”
