Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) 2017 Conference
Simmons Machine Tool Corporation will present “Wheel Set Maintenance: Integrated Measurement and Closed-Loop Systems” at the 2017 Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) Conference, which takes place June 5-8 at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal. The InfoZone presentation covers the introduction of integrated measurement and its significance to wheel set maintenance processes. It also steps through how integrated measurement influences closed-loop systems in heavy maintenance facilities. We are a conference sponsor and have a table in the ExpoZone – so please stop by to say “hi” and talk about new projects.
The annual Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) Conference informs and educates professionals working for railroads, transit agencies, contractors, and consulting firms. The conference focuses on the complex and critical interaction between the wheel and the rail (vehicle/track). It brings together researchers, suppliers, and professionals who hear technical papers presented, learn about new products and services, and get a chance to network with experts in the field. The conference includes three different seminars: the Rail Transit Seminar, the Principles Course, and the Heavy Haul Seminar.
