Simmons At Railway Interchange 2015

Simmons Machine Tool Corporation is attending Railway Interchange 2015, which takes place this October 4-7 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We will be talking railroad wheel shop equipment and automation systems at booth 3109 in Hall C as part of Railway Supply Institute’s exhibits.

During the event, Simmons Product Manager Roger Collen is presenting a technical session entitled “Wheel Profiling Processes and Relation to Wheel Climb in Switch Point Guards” on Monday, October 5 at 11 AM. The presentation is part of the Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association’s track of the Coordinated Mechanical Associations’ technical program.

Railway Interchange is an annual combined railway industry event which incorporates an AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association) technical conference, technical presentations by CMA (Coordinated Mechanical Associations), and exhibition organized by REMSA (Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association)RSSI (Railway Systems Suppliers Inc.), and RSI (Railway Supply Institute). See the latest technologies in the rail industry, learn about new trends and rail research, and connect with people from across the US and internationally at this event, which features hundreds of exhibits from domestic and international rail suppliers as well as technical programs from a wide array of rail disciplines.
